We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Shopper Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team. The Lead Shopper Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing shopper marketing strategies and initiatives to drive brand awareness across the premium waters portfolio, increase sales, and enhance the overall in store shopper experience. This role requires a strong understanding of consumer behavior, market trends, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful shopper marketing programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute shopper marketing strategies and initiatives to drive brand awareness, increase sales, and enhance the overall shopper experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Brand Marketing, Sales, Category Management, and Retail Operations, to develop and implement integrated shopper marketing programs.
  • Lead wearables and swag management and implementation for assigned brands, including new ideation and conducting surveys to sales organization
  • Lead Essentia portal management and sales rep allocations and reordering for branded wearables, swag, hard POS, soft POS and dealer loaders.
  • Handles communication and fields requests coming from sales new users, portal access, usage information and inventory reporting.
  • Create and manage shopper marketing budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners and agencies to drive collaboration and alignment on shopper marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of shopper marketing programs through market research, field surveys and data analytics, providing insights and recommendations for growth and continuous improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in shopper marketing, sharing knowledge and insights with the team.
  • Translate strategic plans into commercial plan to drive sales and in store marketing tactics through retailer channels and partners including point-of-sale displays, signage, promotional materials and investment programs. This includes working with key stakeholders to support the Integrated Commercial Planning (ICP) process.
  • Partner closely with sales to develop and communicate shopper marketing plans to the sales organization.
  • Supports planning, alignment, and execution of assigned brands annual trade shows

Critical Experience and Qualifications:
  • At least 5-6 years of work experience in shopper marketing, brand marketing or related roles.
  • Demonstrated ability and initiative to drive cross-functional teams and agencies to deliver on collective brand goals
  • Experience developing strategic plans and commercializing strategies
  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills including negotiation and relationship building
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful shopper marketing programs.
  • Strong understanding of consumer behavior, market trends, and shopper insights.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with retail partners.
  • Excellent project management skills with ability to prioritize workload and work independently, autonomously and handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Financial acumen and the understanding of calculating risk/return on business decisions.
