Job Details
Job Title: Power BI Developer
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Location: 100% Remote
Job Description:
- Enhancing Power BI visuals. Data extraction and Power query for data transformation
- Expertise in creating Power BI Dashboards with expertise in DAX functions.
- Creating Row level security with Power BI and integration with Power BI Service Portal. Exposure to Gateway services and handling user and app security.
- Understand the underlying data and able to map the same with dashboard.
- Experience using Power BI premium features (dataflows, paginated reports, embedded reports)
- UI/UX in Power BI to build user friendly and visually appealing reports
- Creation of Power BI dashboard and transforming the manual reports, support Power BI dashboard deployment.
- Understanding of Power BI development and administration.
- Building Analysis Services reporting models.
- Developing visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop.
- Connecting to data sources, importing data and transforming data for Business Intelligence.
- Performing required transformations in Power BI query editor
- Data modelling capabilities including designing effective BI data models
- Designing effective layouts using themes and report grids
- Publishing reports via the Power BI service, managing them through distribution of apps and monitoring usage/data refreshes/security access.
- Working closely with clients, gathering requirements and transitions
