We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology within the Engineering industry. The successful candidate will be involved in a range of projects, from initial concept and design through to manufacture and implementation, with a focus on Electrical Design, FPGA, Hardware, Simulation Tools, Aerospace, Defense Systems, Fabrication, and Circuit Design. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in electrical engineering who is looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to advance their career.
Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop and test electrical systems and components, ensuring they meet project requirements and standards.
2. Work on FPGA design and hardware development, integrating and testing functionality.
3. Use simulation tools to model electrical systems and predict performance.
4. Contribute to projects in the aerospace and defense sectors, applying industry-specific knowledge and expertise.
5. Oversee the fabrication process, ensuring that components and systems are built to specification.
6. Design circuits and systems for a variety of applications, ensuring they meet all necessary safety and performance standards.
7. Lead and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software engineers, and project managers to ensure project success.
9. Keep up to date with latest industry trends and advancements in electrical engineering.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree or PhD is preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years' experience in a relevant role within the Engineering industry.
3. Proven experience with Electrical Design, FPGA, Hardware, Simulation Tools, Aerospace, Defense Systems, Fabrication, and Circuit Design.
4. Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
6. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
7. Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor junior engineers.
8. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical team members.
9. Proficient in the use of CAD software and other engineering tools.
