Position Title: IT Healthcare Consultant Project Manager (Consultant)

Position Overview:

The State of South Carolina is seeking a highly skilled IT Healthcare Consultant Project Manager to lead healthcare-related IT initiatives with a strong focus on the IBM Cu ram framework. The ideal candidate will have technical expertise in Cu ram, experience managing complex projects, and a solid understanding of healthcare insurance and Medicaid systems.


Position Details:

  • Reason for Opening: Rebid for incumbent candidate

  • Submission Deadline: July 24 at 5:00 PM EST

  • Interview Format: Single virtual round

  • Contract Duration: 12 months

  • Extension Possible: Yes

  • Work Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

  • Residency Requirement: Must be a current South Carolina resident (No relocation permitted)

  • Vendor Submission Limit: 1 candidate per vendor Skills & Qualifications:

Skill Type Description
IBM Cu ram Framework 3+ years of hands-on technical experience, specifically with HCR and CGIS
Development Methodologies Proven experience in Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, or other SDLC methodologies
Troubleshooting Strong skills in profiling and resolving issues in both OOTB and custom Cu ram code
Certification IBM Cu ram Certification is required

Preferred Skills:

Skill Type Description
Vendor Management Proven ability to manage and coordinate third-party vendors
Healthcare Knowledge Understanding of healthcare insurance principles and processes
Medicaid Operations Experience working with Medicaid systems and workflows
Sector Experience Background in public sector or academic environments is a plus
MMIS Familiarity with Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS)
