Cloud SRE Director

Role: Clod SRE Director

Location: Fort Mill, SC

Mode of Hire: Full Time

Must haves :

• Dynamic, learner-mentality with extremely strong and authoritative communication skills
• Willing to travel (30-40% travel)
• 5+ Years experience as a Programmer / Developer on Java / .NET / Python (and not pure Infrastructure administration background with monitoring experience)
• Currently serving as an SRE Lead (Managing a team of SREs) managing mission critical platforms like Core Banking, Ecommerce, ERP Systems, Airline Systems etc.
• Strong understanding SRE concepts
• Strong understanding of system architecture with 10+ years of experience on 1 or more clouds (AWS / Azure) preferably with advanced Solutions Architect certification
• Deep understanding of 2 or more of the following Observability tools [Dynatrace / AppDynamics / DataDog / Splunk O11y] including custom integrations, AIOps capabilities, api integrations, Anomaly Detection etc.
• Strong experience with the following Open Source Tools [Prometheus + Grafana & ElasticSearch]
• Strong background in OpenTelemetry with experience in code-level instrumentation
• Observability and Infrastructure as Code with understanding of how to create observability and infra as code pipelines on Terraform and Ansible on any CI-CD tool

Nice to Haves:

• Understanding of EBPF
• Cloud Management and Orchestration
• Worked or Custom Developed AIOps tools (Like BigPanda, Moogsoft, ServiceNow AIOps, Splunk ITSI etc.)
• Custom Developed Utilities for advanced Event Correlation, Visualization and Autonomous Resolution
• Understanding of how to build, deploy & finetune AI Models on any cloud native or
• Understanding of ServiceNow (Both from an ITSM / ITOM perspective as well as from a programmatic integration perspective
