Overview:

As the Principal DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing our DevOps practices and infrastructure to ensure scalability, reliability, and security. You will collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to streamline our CI/CD pipelines, automate deployment processes, and enhance monitoring and alerting capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design and implementation of highly scalable and resilient CI/CD pipelines for complex, enterprise-level applications.

Architect and manage cloud infrastructure using best practices in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

Implement infrastructure-as-code principles using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

Drive automation of deployment, configuration management, and monitoring processes.

Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and reliability in production environments.

Define and enforce best practices for security, compliance, and disaster recovery.

Mentor and guide junior members of the DevOps team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Evaluate new technologies and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness of DevOps practices.



Required Skills and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

Proven experience in a senior or principal DevOps role, preferably in the financial services industry.

Expertise in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and compute platforms for complex distributed systems.

Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).

Deep understanding of infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools (Terraform, Ansible).

Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (Python, Golang).

Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, ELK stack, etc.).

Solid understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and compliance standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR).
