Summary

Role: Senior Network Engineer
Location: Herndon, VA (Onsite)
Duration: 12-Month Contract
Pay-rate: $75/h - $85/h on W2 (without benefits)

Overview:
Seeking a seasoned Senior Network Engineer with 7+ years of hands-on experience in complex network environments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate deep expertise in IP networking, BGP/OSPF routing, and Cisco platforms (37xx, 49xx, 65xx, 73xx, 76xx).

Key Skills & Experience:

Strong command of IP protocols, routing, and switching fundamentals.
Proven experience with BGP, OSPF, and Cisco enterprise routing platforms.
Excellent network troubleshooting and analysis capabilities.
Familiarity with technologies such as DWDM, SONET (OC3/OC48), VLANs/STP, IPv4/IPv6, TCP, HSRP/GLBP, PIMv2, IGMP, LDP, TACACS, IPSEC/VPNs, NetFlow, DNS, and HTTP.

Experience supporting large-scale, mission-critical network infrastructures.
