This role can be remote, but local to Cambridge or Philadelphia is ideal  

Summary:

The Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and management of various IT projects across company. This role will work closely with business stakeholders from research to commercial teams to understand requirements, define project scope, and drive successful delivery of solutions. The Project Manager will also collaborate with internal IT and external vendors to ensure technical implementation aligns with business needs.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Gather and document business requirements for projects from cross-functional stakeholders

- Develop project schedules, and manage timelines

- Manage project execution, tracking progress against milestones and deliverables

- Facilitate communication and coordination between business teams, internal IT and external vendors

- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating concerns as needed

- Implement change management processes to ensure smooth adoption of new solutions

- Prepare and deliver project status reports, presentations, and other communications to stakeholders

- Collaborate with vendor management teams for external vendor engagements

 

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration)

- 8+ years of experience in project management, preferably with large technology implementation projects

- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills

- Experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple priorities

- Proven track record of delivering successful projects on time and within budget

- Project Management Professional (PMP) or other relevant certification

- Experience in the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry

- Knowledge of change management principles and practices
