Duration: 6-12 Months

Job Description

The Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) is responsible for ensuring all supplied components, materials, and manufacturing processes meet the company's quality and technical standards. This role focuses on proactive supplier engagement, quality audits, and driving continuous improvement within the supply chain.

• Partner with suppliers to ensure materials and parts meet engineering and quality standards.

• Conduct supplier audits, process assessments, and root cause analysis to maintain compliance.

• Lead corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve quality issues effectively.

• Support onboarding and qualification of new suppliers.

• Collaborate closely with internal engineering, manufacturing, and procurement teams to ensure smooth supplier integration.

• Track supplier quality performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

• Maintain quality documentation and communicate technical feedback to suppliers.

• Strong knowledge of supplier quality management, process audits, and root cause analysis.

• Experience in CAPA implementation, continuous improvement, and PPAP or APQP (if automotive or regulated industry).

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.

• Experience in a manufacturing or supply chain quality environment.
