Title - Network Analyst - Audio and Video

Location - Lawrenceville, GA Onsite

Position Description:

  • This position is responsible for providing Audio & Video technical support to County facilities. Incumbents coordinate and respond to service requests, assist with Cisco Webex/telepresence systems, and maintain Webex, Zoom, and Google meeting applications.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Six years of professional-level analyst and systems experience in a large-scale Information Technology environment.
  • Minimum of four years' experience working with Audio/Video, Webex Systems, Zoom, and Google meeting Apps.
  • Previous experience working as an AV technician.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working in a Cisco network/Telecomm Environment preferred
  • Experience working with Avaya, Siemens, and/or Rolm systems is a plus
  • Telecommunications systems administration principles
  • Provide customer support for AV systems such as Cisco Telepresence end points, projectors, TVs, video matrix systems, Crestron systems, and audio systems.
  • Previous experience working as an AV technician.
  • Experience with creating/modifying macros for Cisco Telepresence endpoints and Crestron is a plus.
  • Provide customer service
  • Repair and perform preventative maintenance on systems
  • Maintain records and prepare reports

Responsibilities:

  • Provides technical support to County employees using various telecommunications and network systems.
  • Provides technical support to County employees using Cisco telepresence endpoints, projectors, microphones, video monitors, video matrix systems, and audio equipment.
  • Coordinating with vendors and customers for AV installations or service break-fix.
  • Designs, configures, tests, implements, and maintains a variety of hardware, software, peripheral devices, and systems.
  • Monitors and ensures systems meet business and performance needs.
  • The individual will be required to be on-call after hours, weekends, and holidays on a rotating schedule with other team members. The individual will also be required to work with and mentor other team members.
  • Perform configuration changes as required; advanced-level troubleshooting.
  • Technical implementation of telecommunications and network infrastructures.
  • Troubleshoot technical problems with the critical systems, servers, and equipment within a 24/7/365 Data Center environment, handling the more complex and critical problems. Responds to system emergencies as required.
  • Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
