Job Details

Our client is an American multinational telecommunications company known for its pioneering role in the mobile communications industry.

We have an opening for a hands-on Wiring Harness Technician to support the setup of internal QA test harnesses. This role is ideal for candidates with low-voltage wiring experience, strong technical documentation skills, and comfort working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Location: Culver City, CA 90230 (100% onsite)
Duration: 6 months (with potential for extension)
Work Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Top 3 Must-Have Skills
  • Low-voltage wiring and harness assembly - including cutting, crimping, soldering, terminating, and routing wires (e.g., Cat 6, 22 gauge).
  • Tool proficiency - crimpers, wire strippers, multimeters, and soldering tools (SMT and through-hole).
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.

Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of hands-on experience with wiring and harness assembly.
  • Ability to read and follow basic wiring diagrams and schematics.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs (up to 50 lbs with assistance).
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Must pass a full drug panel screening (safety-sensitive role).

Nice-to-Have Skills
  • J-STD-001 Certification or similar.
  • Experience with access control systems, cameras, or network installations (RJ45, keystones, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Linux or Mac terminal environments.

Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Certified technician with experience in wiring harness assembly and low-voltage testing.
  • Skilled in soldering, crimping, and routing wires.
  • Comfortable working from technical documentation.
  • Familiar with Cat 6, RJ45, and network cabling.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
  • Available to work onsite and start within 2 weeks.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Build and install test wiring harnesses for internal QA.
  • Cut and run Cat 6 and other low-voltage wires to devices/cutting cat 6 wire and wiring to devices.
  • Perform basic testing (continuity, low-voltage).
  • Document wire movements and inventory using Google Sheets.
  • Use Jira and Google Workspace for task tracking and documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and QA teams.
  • Running wire, cutting wire, wiring setup.
  • May have to run test
  • Ability to read and follow wire harness assembly instructions
  • Experience working with access control or cameras is a plus.
  • Terminal experience is a plus because they can have them run test if needed.
  • Terminal experience means someone with Linux terminal experience, Mac terminal experience is also acceptable.
