What You Will Be Doing
- Lead and implement concurrent environmental and civil engineering projects.
- Provide technical oversight, leadership, and mentorship to engineers and project staff.
- Conduct design analysis and prepare engineering cost estimates, drawings, and specifications.
- Manage landfill design, wastewater treatment, and large-scale groundwater remediation projects.
- Oversee permitting in PA and NJ (industrial wastewater discharge, soil erosion, sediment control, and site planning).
- Ensure compliance with federal environmental and safety regulations (RCRA, CERCLA, CWA, OSHA, TSCA).
- Support business development through proposal writing, client presentations, and project budgeting.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on planning, scheduling, and quality control to ensure project success.
- Participate in field visits, construction oversight, and client meetings as needed.
Experience You Will Need
- Current New Jersey Professional Engineer (PE) license (required).
- 15+ years of experience in environmental or civil engineering.
- 6+ years of progressive management and leadership experience.
- Proven record managing landfill, wastewater, and remediation projects.
- Expertise in NJ/PA permitting and regulatory processes.
- Current OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER and re certification.
- Bachelor s degree in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering (Master s preferred).
- Strong project and client management skills with experience in proposal preparation.
- Software: MS Excel, Project, PowerPoint (GIS/MicroStation/AutoCAD a plus).
