Job Details

  • Strong experience in designing, testing, monitoring, and fixing Layer 2 and Layer 3 network issues.

  • Good experience with Linux networking and routing, including LAN, WAN, VLAN, VXLAN, IPv4/IPv6, TCP/UDP, NAT, DHCP, DNS, and QoS.

  • Experience working with Ethernet switches, wireless access points, and cellular or satellite network systems.

  • Good knowledge of IP networking concepts such as OSPF, BGP, VPNs, SDN, DNS, load balancers, and firewalls.

  • Familiar with networking operating systems like Cumulus Linux, VyOS, OpenWRT, and network devices from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, and F5.

  • Understanding of network security, encryption concepts, and best practices for different use cases like streaming, ISP, and transaction-based systems.

  • Experience in designing and developing software for complex embedded systems, from requirements to final deployment.

  • Experience with container platforms like Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Docker Swarm is a plus.

  • Experince of AWS cloud networking
