Job Details

Are you a techno-functional Data / Business Systems Analyst with a passion for healthcare data? We're looking for someone who can bridge business needs and technical delivery to ensure data-driven success in the healthcare payer domain.

As a Data / Senior Business Systems Analyst, you'll play a key role in analyzing complex payer data (Claims, Membership, Provider, and Population Health), defining business requirements, and collaborating with technical teams across Azure Data, Databricks, and Snowflake environments.

What you'll be doing:

Work closely with business and technical teams to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.
Analyze and document functional specifications, data mappings, and requirements across the SDLC and Agile lifecycle.
Lead data quality and governance initiatives by defining data SLAs, metrics, and dashboards.
Use your advanced SQL skills for data profiling, validation, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Snowflake teams for smooth data ingestion and delivery.
Act as a subject matter expert on payer systems and processes - especially FACETS and EDI data.
Contribute to change management, project estimation, and process improvement efforts.

What we're looking for:
  • 9+ years of experience in business/data analysis with strong project and process skills.

  • Strong technical background in SQL, Databricks, and Azure data ecosystem.

  • Deep understanding of healthcare payer systems (Medicaid/Medicare) and data standards.

  • Hands-on experience with FACETS, EDI transactions, and Care Management data.

  • Knowledge of data governance, PII compliance, and data quality frameworks.

  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
