Human Resources Associate to manage day-to-day

Job Details

We are currently seeking a Human Resources Associate to manage day-to-day operations of the HR functions. An ideal candidate will handle administration of the human resources policies, procedures and programs ensuring productivity as well as healthy, professional and friendly work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Employee Relations, Policy Building and Interpretation, Performance Reviews
  • Execute Recruiting operations including pre-employment processes, on-boarding and exit interviews
  • Manage and maintain Time, Expense and Benefits Administration, Payroll accuracy, federal and state tax withholding, Training Program Management
  • Provide training and support to employees on all human resources related issues
  • Ensure legal compliance including but not limited to HR records, I-9, E-Verify, Employment Laws, H1B Visas, wages and legal processes with DOL and USCIS on immigration filings etc.
  • Track and maintain records for government compliance and reporting
  • Execute initiatives on employee retention, cultural change, communication change management and compliance audits
  • Organize and plan company events.
  • Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
  • Prepares employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Any additional duties assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other related field
  • PHR Preferred
  • Minimum 2 years HR experience, with ability to operate independently and work proactively, and exercise sound judgment.
  • Ability to establish credibility with employees, vendors and Contractors.
  • Solid understanding of HR practices as well as employment laws and regulations.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Ability to identify and handle sensitive issues with discretion and a commitment to confidentiality.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as analytical skills.
