Job Description:
The Healthcare Construction Plan Reviewer is responsible for evaluating electronic construction drawings and specifications for healthcare facilities to ensure compliance with the Facility Guidelines Institute (FGI) standards and NFPA 101: Life Safety Code. This role plays a critical part in safeguarding patient safety, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency in healthcare environments.

Key Responsibilities
Review architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings for new construction, renovations, and expansions of healthcare facilities.
Ensure all plans comply with FGI Guidelines for the Design and Construction of Health Care Facilities.
Verify adherence to NFPA 101 requirements, focusing on life safety, egress, fire protection, and occupancy classifications.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to resolve code discrepancies.
Prepare detailed written reports outlining deficiencies, required corrections, and final approvals.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and regulatory changes.
