Overview:

We are seeking skilled Data Center Technicians and a Lead Technician to support large-scale GPU deployments in an enterprise data center environment. This team will be responsible for troubleshooting, cabling, hardware installation, and decommissioning activities. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in data center operations and a strong understanding of server hardware and networking.

Roles & Requirements:

Lead Technician

  • Experience: 5+ years in a Lead or Management role within a data center or technical environment.
  • Responsibilities: Oversight of technician teams, ensuring adherence to procedures, and providing guidance during troubleshooting and deployments.

L4 Technician

  • Experience: 5+ years of dedicated data center experience.
  • Responsibilities: Advanced troubleshooting of GPU deployments, hardware diagnostics, and support in an enterprise DC setting.

L3 Technician

  • Experience: 3+ years of data center experience.
  • Responsibilities: Support hardware installation, cabling, and decommissioning tasks under guidance from Lead Technicians.

Shift Schedule:

A Side (Days):
  • Sunday, Monday, Tuesday & Every Other Wednesday | 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM

A Side (Nights):
  • Same days as above | 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

B Side (Days):
  • Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Every Other Wednesday | 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM

B Side (Nights):
  • Same days as above | 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Remove network cables during data center decommissioning
  • Run, label, and stage power and networking cables
  • Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and equipment replacement
  • Follow documented procedures for hardware setup, startup, and shutdown
  • Conduct physical audits of data center assets
  • Operate software tools to monitor systems and respond to errors
  • Assist in testing and debugging new programs

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent (Associate's degree preferred)
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware, servers, and components
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Data center operations
  • Rack and stack
  • Fiber optic and Cat5/Cat6 cabling
  • Hardware deployment and troubleshooting

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $44.00/hr.
