Job Description
Required Education:
o Graduate or Post Graduate in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
Qualifications:
o 8-12 years of experience in electromechanical hardware development.
o Preferred experience in medical devices (e.g., infusion pumps) or other highly regulated industries.
o Experience with embedded systems, FPGA, and testing for emissions/immunity.
o Knowledge of CAD systems (Altium, LabVIEW) and medical standards is required.
Develop creative solutions and design hardware for the Client's new and existing infusion system portfolio. This involves defining requirements, designing analog/digital circuits, ensuring integration with mechanical/software systems, testing for safety and effectiveness, and transitioning products to manufacturing. This is a standard requisition for a contingent Electrical Engineer role at Baxter, focusing on the development of medical infusion systems, with a strong emphasis on experience in a regulated industry.
Key Responsibilities:
o Design analog and digital electronic circuit schematics for microcontroller-based systems.
o Analyze circuits using tools like LTspice and Pspice.
o Ensure designs meet medical safety standards (e.g., IEC 60601).
o Work with PCB design tools (Altium Designer preferred).
o Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the electrical aspects of medical devices.
