As a software engineer on our team, you'll work closely with UI design, clinical, and data engineering experts to collect data that will unlock the potential of our devices and sensors for human health.

Description As a member of the Health Research Applications team you'll have the opportunity to work with experts in their field to expand the capabilities of our health research platform. You'll code in Swift and Objective-C, using frameworks like SwiftUI, CoreData, and CloudKit in Xcode, collaborating using git in a robust continuous integration environment.

Responsibilities
  • Defining and implementing new features to enable health research
  • Prototyping new ideas to help with feature definition
  • Participating in architecture and code reviews
  • Growing engineering excellence such as through focus on testability and quality
  • Communicating ideas to cross functional partners including design, clinical, and data engineering
  • Building internal tools as needed to help ship high quality software

Minimum Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience with Swift and/or Objective-C coding
  • Knowledge of Apple platforms and frameworks
  • Record of producing testable, high quality software
  • BS Computer Science or equivalent experience.

  • Familiarity with Wellness or Medical concepts

Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
