Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled L3 Network Engineer with deep expertise in Cisco LAN/WAN, Cisco Wireless, and Meraki Solutions to join our team onsite in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise network infrastructure, including 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6) and 802.11be (Wi-Fi 7) wireless technologies, SD-WAN, and network segmentation. This role also requires a strong understanding of FedRAMP compliance, network security protocols, and cloud-managed platforms.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE) preferred
  • Strong understanding of enterprise networking, wireless technologies, and cloud-managed platforms

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering
  • Proven experience with Cisco Meraki, wireless LAN, SD-WAN, and LAN/WAN architecture
  • Deep knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, IS-IS, RIP), layer 2 protocols (STP, VTP, LACP), and MPLS/MP-BGP
  • Experience with CAPWAP, LWAPP, 802.1x/RADIUS, and WPA3
  • Familiarity with Meraki Dashboard, cloud management protocols (HTTP, DNS, SSL), and FedRAMP Moderate or StateRAMP environments

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and optimize Cisco Meraki wireless, switching, and security solutions
  • Configure and manage networks using the Meraki Dashboard
  • Deploy and optimize LAN/WAN architectures with hierarchical segmentation
  • Implement and troubleshoot advanced routing protocols and SD-WAN solutions
  • Ensure compliance with FedRAMP and FIPS 140-2 standards for secure cloud networking
  • Provide end-to-end network visibility, performance tuning, and issue resolution
  • Collaborate with service providers and internal teams to deliver secure, scalable network solutions
