The Senior Agile Program Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the successful delivery of complex projects and programs within an agile framework. This position requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of agile methodologies, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives.
How you will do it
- Lead and manage multiple agile programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define program scope, deliverables, and success criteria.
- Monitor program progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within teams.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, promoting agile best practices.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration across teams and stakeholders.
What we look for
Required
- Proven experience as an Agile Program Manager or similar role, with a minimum of 10 years in program management.
- Strong expertise in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple programs and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Computer Science, Engineering).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills suitable at all levels of the organization.
Preferred Certifications, Skills and Expertise
- Certification in agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, SAFe Program Consultant).
- Experience in the technology or software development industry.
- Knowledge of Lean principles and practices.
- Familiarity with data analytics and reporting tools.
- Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MS in Project Management).
