Job Title: Program Manager Marketing IV

Location: Remote

Duration: 7 Months

Fully remote candidates are eligible; candidates located in the Bay Area (preferably Palo Alto) are strongly preferred.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager, Partner Marketing to support and manage a global partner marketing incentive and MDF bounty program on a contract basis. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day execution, operational management, financial tracking, and optimization of a Partner Meeting DR Bounty Incentive Program.

The contractor will work closely with Partner Marketing, Field Marketing, Marketing Operations, and Finance to ensure program accuracy, compliance, operational efficiency, and measurable business impact. This position is execution-heavy, process-oriented, and well-suited for a senior contractor who can quickly assess existing workflows.

 

Key Responsibilities

Partner Marketing Program Execution

  • Manage and operate the Partner Meeting and DR Bounty Incentive Program, acting as the primary operational owner.
  • Build and operationalize partner marketing programs, including asset creation and promotion to partner communities in support of the incentive program.
  • Track, monitor, and report on program results, partner participation, and overall performance.

MDF Operations & Financial Management

  • Manage MDF operations associated with the program, ensuring adherence to internal policies and partner program guidelines.
  • Own MDF budget tracking, forecasting, reconciliation, and reporting for the program.
  • Validate and approve MDF bounty claims, navigating a currently manual, spreadsheet-based claims validation process while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Process Improvement & Program Redesign

  • Rapidly learn the current program structure, documentation, and tools.
  • Partner with Operations and Marketing Operations teams to rebuild and redesign the program for greater efficiency, scalability, and automation.
  • Identify gaps, redundancies, and manual steps, and recommend system-based or workflow-driven improvements.
  • Support the transition from manual processes to more automated, standardized workflows.

Reporting, Analytics & Systems

  • Use Tableau to develop and maintain dashboards and reporting to track program performance, MDF utilization, and ROI.
  • Leverage Salesforce for program tracking, partner engagement, claims management, and reporting.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems and reporting outputs.
  • Provide regular program updates and insights to internal stakeholders.

Cross-Functional Support

  • Collaborate closely with Partner Marketing, Field Marketing, Marketing Operations, and Finance .
  • Serve as a subject-matter resource for partner incentive programs, MDF operations, and program execution details.
  • Support partner-facing operational guidance and internal documentation as needed.

 

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in program management, partner marketing operations, marketing operations, or a similar function.
  • Demonstrated experience managing incentive programs, MDF programs, or partner marketing initiatives.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce and Tableau.
  • Proven ability to manage financially governed programs, including budget tracking and claims validation.
  • Experience redesigning and operationalizing processes, ideally moving from manual to automated workflows.
  • Ability to operate independently, manage priorities, and deliver against defined outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Coupa or comparable procurement/spend management platforms.
  • Experience with:
    • Partner Marketing Sales Play and Playbook creation
    • Partner Portal marketing content management
    • Partner program and event sponsorship management
  • Background supporting global or multi-region partner ecosystems.

Work Location and Schedule

  • This role is a contract position.
  • The contractor will work standard business hours aligned to their local time zone.
  • Willingness to occasionally flex hours to support business needs and stakeholder collaboration is required.
  • No overtime is expected for this engagement, but this does not mean that none will occur.
