We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Structural Engineer to join our thriving team. As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing construction projects, ensuring that structures are safe and capable of withstanding the elements. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from residential developments to commercial structures, using cutting-edge technology and innovative engineering solutions.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop design ideas using AutoCAD 3D, considering the client's requirements and the project's potential environmental impacts.
2. Ensure that all designs are robust, efficient, and meet the highest standards of safety and sustainability.
3. Conduct site investigations to gather data for planning and design.
4. Work on erosion control, ensuring that the environmental impact of our projects is minimized.
5. Develop detailed designs for site development, including drainage and shoring.
6. Prepare reports, designs, and drawings, making complex engineering concepts and procedures understandable for clients and non-engineering professionals.
7. Liaise with other professionals, including architects, surveyors, and contractors to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
8. Monitor the progress of projects from concept to completion, ensuring that structures are built according to the design and specification.
9. Stay up-to-date with the latest engineering developments and innovations, applying this knowledge to your work.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
2. Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required.
4. Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil or structural engineering, with a focus on site development.
5. Proficiency in AutoCAD 3D is essential.
6. Strong understanding of erosion control, shoring, and drainage.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to engineering challenges.
8. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex engineering concepts in a clear and understandable way.
9. Ability to work as part of a team, collaborating with other professionals to deliver high-quality projects.
10. Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
