Financial Analyst - Advertising
Location: New York, NY (Onsite)
Pay: $40-$49/hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM
Duration: 7-month W2 Contract
Job Overview
We are looking for a Financial Analyst to support the Ad Sales FP&A team at a leading digital advertising company. This role provides financial insights, budget management, and reporting to guide leadership in a fast-changing industry. You'll collaborate with sales, product, and business teams to optimize financial planning and drive operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze P&L and budget data to improve financial performance.
- Track and report key financial metrics to leadership.
- Streamline global reporting processes through standardization and automation.
- Support headcount planning, strategic goal tracking, and operational budgeting.
- Work cross-functionally to align financial data with business objectives.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related analytical field.
- 3+ years of experience in finance, tax, or analytics.
- Strong Excel skills and familiarity with financial reporting tools.
- Experience with KPIs and process improvement in financial operations.
Preferred:
- Experience with SQL, data warehousing, and financial tools (TM1, Cognos, Essbase, Oracle, SAP).
- Ability to simplify complex financial data and communicate insights effectively.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, data-driven environments.
