Position: CargoWise Finance Program Manager (US & Canada Brokerage)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Finance Program Manager with deep expertise in CargoWise (CW) and strong knowledge of US and Canadian Brokerage operations. This individual will play a key role in implementing and optimizing CargoWise for Brokerage, with a particular focus on finance, settlements, reporting, and system configuration. The role requires someone who can act as both a finance/accounting expert and a CargoWise implementation leader, ensuring seamless integration and compliance across regions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the implementation of CargoWise Brokerage modules for US and Canada, with focus on finance and customs settlement processes.
Own and drive the financial configuration, reporting, and settlement framework within CW to meet regulatory and business requirements.
Partner with Finance, Brokerage, and Operations teams to ensure accurate settlements, reconciliations, and reporting are in place.
Provide subject matter expertise on CW registry settings, finance-related modules, and reporting capabilities.
Define and implement SOPs and best practices for settlement, reporting, and financial governance within CW.
Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on financial reporting needs, system capabilities, and process optimization opportunities.
Support and guide teams through go-live activities for Brokerage and Transportation (target: February).
Conduct training, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions to build internal capabilities on CW Finance functionalities.
Qualifications & Skills:
10+ years of CargoWise experience, with significant exposure to Finance, Brokerage, and implementation projects.
Strong finance/accounting background, ideally with hands-on experience in settlements and reconciliations.
Proven track record of leading CargoWise implementations in US and Canada, with expertise in Brokerage operations.
Deep knowledge of customs settlement, reporting, and system configuration in CW.
Strong program management skills with ability to manage timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, able to work across Finance, IT, Operations, and Business stakeholders.
Experience supporting transportation and brokerage go-live projects preferred.
