Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role involves working across multiple Salesforce environments including Development, UAT, and Production. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing service requests through a ticketing system and will work closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions. These solutions must align with both business and IT strategies and comply with the organization’s architectural standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary technical lead for the Salesforce platform, including system configuration, customization, and optimization.
  • Design, build, and debug complex solutions using Apex, Lightning Components, Flows, and other automation tools.
  • Manage deployment processes and validate system changes across all Salesforce environments.
  • Develop and maintain systems documentation, governance, and standard operating procedures to maximize value and reduce technical debt.
  • Operate a full environment supporting change management and release processes—including Production, Full UAT, Developer, and Sandbox instances—to ensure configurations are properly tested and promoted, separating production from development.
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure solutions meet business needs and adhere to established standards.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Salesforce Engineer with a strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and design.
  • Expertise in Apex, Lightning Components, and Salesforce automation tools.
  • Experience with system configurations and optimizations on the Salesforce platform.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex system integrations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience in managing full lifecycle deployments from development to production environments.
  • Knowledge of best practices in maintaining system documentation and governance.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and service request management.
  • Relevant Salesforce certifications are highly preferred.
