Role : Data Analytics Specialist
Location : Boston, MA (Hybrid)
Seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Specialist for a 6+ month highly extendable role for one of my Pharma clients in Boston. Hybrid - 3 days onsite work per week required. C2C pay rate range $ 55/hour.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years experience analyzing and manipulating data
- Bachelors degree in a Scientific, computer science or Allied Health field
- Pharma/Biotech/Health industry (GxP) experience required
- Very strong Python scripting, coding and troubleshooting experience
- Strong Power BI, Smartsheet, AWS, Excel experience
- Must have extensive experience creating and maintaining complex dashboards with data from various multiple sources
- Extensive experience developing and generating Metrics, KPIS, Dashboards and Ad Hoc Reports
- Veeva & Snowflake experience a big plus
- Automation and integration experience
- Stakeholder relationship experience
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead automation and integration of CDMO data sources, building pipelines, data mappings, and validation processes to ensure upstream data integrity and audit readiness.
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards to track batch disposition, deviation trends, closure timelines, and QMS performance.
- Improve reporting efficiency by 75% through Python- and AWS-based automation for data transformation, cleaning, and aggregation.
- Implement structured data pipelines across systems including Smartsheet, Veeva QMS, and Power BI, enabling real-time operational reporting.
- Create a custom internal application using Microsoft Graph API and Azure App Registration to automate file uploads, organize documentation, andenable dynamic permissions for stakeholder access.
- Coordinate, investigate and resolve data discrepancies, ensuring consistent and reliable reporting inputs.
- Conduct data validation and quality checks to support audit documentation and internal reporting accuracy.
- Optimize dashboard performance through Power BI query improvements
- Maintain internal documentation of data processes, dashboard logic, and reporting cadences to support reproducibility and stakeholder transparency.
