Description We power the Finder and Files applications on iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and visionOS. To provide an exceptional experience, we work closely with file systems, frameworks and applications teams. We are looking for a skilled and self-motivated software engineer who is eager to interact with other members of the team, and other teams at Apple. As a Finder and Files engineer, you will work on UI and data model for Finder and Files, applications used every day by millions of people. In this position you will participate in all stages of software development, from new feature design and implementation, to maintenance of prior releases. You will work through rapid development cycles, remain flexible and calm in the face of uncertainty, showing your drive to deliver dependable software.

Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- Object-oriented programming experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Comfortable updating existing UI, and creating new UI
- Ability to deeply analyze multi-client synchronization problems
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills in a highly collaborative environment
