Payrate: $64.89 - $70.00/hr.

Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and data-minded Technical Project Manager with expertise in microwave and transport engineering to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of microwave technology and its applications in construction projects and will be responsible for outlining the entire process from microwave to router and optics.

Responsibilities:
  • Log on to Slack and review/respond to emails.
  • Submit UNI/EVC orders/ASRs for Mods and New Installs using various ordering applications (VFO, Neustar, email).
  • Submit orders for Dark Fiber requests using various ordering applications (VFO, Neustar, email).
  • Submit NNI orders as needed using various ordering applications (VFO, Neustar, email).
  • Activate paths upon project completion.
  • Update Fuze/milestones and individual/shared trackers.
  • Submit ASR Disconnect requests to remove lower bandwidth and EOS circuits.
  • Update CND with FOC/Confirmation receipts - order information from New and Disconnect requests.
  • Review Nokia Service Portal and/or SevOne to verify equipment, bandwidth, and VLAN configurations before submitting disconnects.
  • Assign VLANs/NNIs upon external 3rd party customer requests.
  • Prep/build Mod/New site build paths for the appropriate design solution, EBH or ENSE.
  • Create revisions for Mod sites.
  • Attend market calls to mitigate any issues regarding mods/new site builds.
  • Support the Network Provisioning Team in designing, augmenting EOS or microwave circuitry for existing cell sites, building new cell sites, and coordinating installations between the vendor and the Operations team.

Requirements:
  • Knowledge and experience with Granite (CND) circuit database
  • IP knowledge and understanding of routing / assigning IPs
  • Digital Communications including Fiber, Ethernet
  • Microwave experience including: ALU/Nokia MPR9500
  • Proficient in office computer applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
  • Decision making skills (by making appropriate use of all available information and data; anticipating the future and preparing accordingly.
  • Must be self-motivated, show initiative, and be able to work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills needed.
  • Need to be highly productive and pay close attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with engineering and engineering economic principles preferred.
  • Optical Transport systems including: ALU/Nokia 7705 & IXRe routers
  • Gather and analyze data related to microwave systems and provide actionable insights to the construction team.
  • Create detailed microwave diagrams and outline the process from microwave to router and optics.
  • Ensure construction has clear instructions on what to order and how to integrate microwave technology.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Understand the entire chain of microwave transport engineering and map out the process.
  • Compile data into Excel spreadsheets, including PCN, bill of materials, and purchase orders.

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $64.89 - $70.00/hr. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
