Title: Product Owner

Location: Marlborough, MA 01752

Remote / Hybrid Schedule: Fully remote; with the expectation to go into office for events; and potential in the future to become hybrid

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Data Product Owner to support our Risk and Compliance Data Team's data governance, analytics, and data engineering initiatives. This role will serve as a central liaison between business stakeholders, IT, and our teams developer/engineering teams, ensuring data requests, issues, and priorities are effectively managed and executed. The ideal candidate is not only technically capable but also a good communicator and collaborator who thrives in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Request & Issue Management

Catalog and organize all incoming data requests and issues.
Maintain a centralized log to ensure visibility, traceability, and accountability.
Coordinate with IT to ensure timely resolution and communication.
Jira Oversight & Road Mapping
Handle Jira data team for tracking data-related tasks and enhancements.
Support roadmap planning and alignment with business priorities.
Ensure tickets are properly scoped, prioritized, and updated.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Partner with business teams to gather requirements and define priorities.
Translate business needs into actionable data tasks.
Facilitate regular check-ins to align on progress and expectations.
Technical Support & Data Modeling
Support engineers and IT teams with data modeling, documentation, and validation.
Assist in ensuring data structures align with business logic
Reporting & Analysis
Collect and analyze data to identify trends and insights.
Build reports and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
Assist in database management and ensure data integrity.

Qualifications (Requirements):
Bachelor s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
5-10 years of experience in data operations, business analysis, or data product management
Proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI and/or Excel; one is required)
Familiarity with Jira, SQL, and data modeling concepts.
Experience working with engineering and IT teams in a collaborative environment.
