Job Description :

We are seeking a talented Senior Full Stack Developer with extensive experience in PHP, Laravel, MySQL, MongoDB, React, and VueJS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust web applications and services across the entire stack.

 

  • Mainframe Experience (Required):
  • - Deep familiarity with IBM z/OS systems
  • - Strong COBOL programming experience (ideally 5+ years)
  • - Familiar with JCL, CICS, DB2
  • Cloud Migration Experience (Preferred):
  • - Participated in or led efforts to modernize legacy mainframe systems to cloud (AWS GovCloud, Azure, or OCI)
  • - Experience refactoring or replatforming COBOL apps into Java, .NET, or container-based services
  • California Government Project Experience (Preferred):
  • - Worked with departments such as EDD, DMV, CalPERS, DHCS, CDT, or FTB
  • - Familiarity with CDT's PAL process and SLP/SaaS procurement structures
  • Soft Skills:
  • - Communicates well with non-technical stakeholders
  • - Able to write documentation and create modernization roadmaps
  • - Operates well in a hybrid environment (older tech + modern tools)

    Tools & Technologies (Desired):

  • IBM z/OS, TSO/ISPF, JCL, CICS, VSAM, DB2
  • COBOL, Java, .NET, Node.js (for refactored services)
  • Azure / AWS (especially with government compliance layers)
  • Git, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible
  • Oracle, SQL Server
  • ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence (project tracking/documentation)

  • Ideal Candidate Background:

  • 10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years on IBM mainframe systems
  • 2+ years of experience with cloud migration or hybrid modernization efforts
