Location: HYBRID in IOWA
Duration: 1+ year to LONG term!
Rate: DOE/hr on OUR W2
User Experience Designer
Needs to be within 2 hours of Waterloo or Urbandale, Iowa in order to drive onsite a couple times per month

What You Will Do:
Design intuitive and effective user experiences for embedded systems used in agricultural equipment.
Design wireframes, high-fidelity mockups and deliver detailed specification documents.
Collaborate with product management, engineering, and UX teams to align on user experience goals.
Conducting design thinking workshops with stakeholder groups.
Creatively addressing complex applications, impediments, and user journeys.
Collaborating with UX researchers on product discovery, design validation, first click testing, usability testing, interviews, and surveys.
Presenting your design vision and recommendations to colleagues, management, and executives.
What Skills You Need:
3+ years of UX and UI design experience.
Expertise in Figma and Sketch.
Strong visual design skills and attention to detail.
What Makes You Stand Out:
Experience designing for embedded software.
Experience using Adobe products.
Agriculture knowledge/background.
Strong track record of communicating and presenting effectively.
Capacity to lead design discussions and influence stakeholders.
A portfolio highlighting your design process and experience.
Strong familiarity with incorporating branding and common design system components and guidelines into product experiences.
