Position Summary:

As the Enterprise Systems Architect overseeing ERP and Corporate Systems, you will be the key driver for establishing the system blueprints, planning methodologies, and solution designs within the core Enterprise Resource Planning ecosystem. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Corporate Systems, you will be accountable for designing software solutions that meet business needs, defining architecture, and managing system design, utilizing both internal teams and external partners.

Your role requires proactive engagement with various business units to deeply understand their long-term strategic direction and determine how IT can most effectively enable the execution of their goals. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders in your domain to communicate and scope the functional IT roadmap, ensuring robust synchronization with the broader IT strategy.

Core Duties and Accountabilities:

Architectural oversight for all ERP systems—specifically Financial Management and Supply Chain Operations (Direct Procurement)—and managing crucial interfacing with adjacent applications like Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Merchandise Planning, Digital Commerce, and Point of Sale (POS) platforms.

Lead the rigorous evaluation and selection process for new technology solutions. Conduct thorough market research and utilize specialized research and advisory services to assess emerging SaaS technologies.

Coordinate Request for Information (RFI), Request for Proposal (RFP), and Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes in partnership with vendors and cross-functional teams.

Analyze detailed functional business requirements and processes, translating them into robust technical standards and solution designs. Develop and enhance enterprise systems based on finalized requirements.

Maintain deep technical expertise across both Cloud and On-premise ERP technology stacks and system architectures.

Possess comprehensive knowledge of interconnected, cross-functional systems to proactively identify and mitigate integration risks and dependencies.

Spearhead the entire lifecycle of solution discovery, architecture definition, and technical design.

Engage with various teams (business operations, development, quality engineering, and support) to assess the technical and functional ramifications of changes, subsequently establishing the appropriate system architecture and design.

Demonstrate mastery in understanding complex, end-to-end integrated business flows and recognizing global integration impacts.

Contribute to project management activities across multiple application areas, including the creation of detailed effort estimations (LOEs).

Monitor current technological advancements relevant to the operational business units.

Embody our core organizational principles: Dedication to Service, Innovation Focus, Deep Expertise, Work-Life Harmony, Mutual Respect, Collaborative Spirit, and Personal Drive.

Essential Qualifications:

An undergraduate degree or a postgraduate degree (preferred) in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.

A minimum of 10 years of progressive functional and technical experience in Enterprise Resource Planning, Merchandising, and Planning systems.

In-depth, hands-on expertise and functional knowledge of core ERP modules: Financials and Supply Chain (covering Direct Procurement & Inventory Management).

Required practical experience with Tier-1 ERP platforms such as SAP S/4HANA or Oracle Fusion/EBS.

Familiarity with Planning, Visual Merchandising, PLM, and Technical Design solutions is a plus.

Experience managing specialized platforms like Anaplan, Invent Analytics, Vibe IQ, Flex PLM, or Centric is advantageous.

Demonstrated expertise in system and process best practice methodologies.

A blend of strong commercial acumen coupled with high drive and a motivated approach to achieving goals.

Proven history of working successfully with vendors, negotiating scope, and enforcing quality standards.

Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, including the skill to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences at all organizational levels.

Superior analytical and complex problem-solving capabilities.

Self-starting, energetic attitude, with a continuous willingness to learn and adapt to change.

Track record of successfully managing full-lifecycle ERP implementations.

Consulting background is a benefit.

Significant experience within the Retail Industry is a distinct advantage.

A preference for working effectively within a high-tempo operational setting.
