Job Description: SAP Master Data Consultant (EWM/MM/TM)
Location: PST Time Zone (Preferred: San Francisco Bay Area)
On-site Requirement: Periodic visits to client offices in Sunnyvale, CA
Employment Type: Contract (C2C or 1099) or Full-Time (W2)
Role Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Master Data Consultant with deep functional expertise in Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), Transportation Management (TMS), and Materials Management (MM). The ideal candidate is based in the Pacific Standard Time zone, preferably in the San Francisco Bay Area, and is available for periodic on-site collaboration in Sunnyvale, CA.
This role will lead master data strategy, governance, and conversion efforts across SAP supply chain modules, ensuring data integrity and alignment with business operations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and execution of SAP master data strategy across MM, EWM, and TMS modules
  • Oversee end-to-end data conversion processes, including extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation, and load activities
  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure accurate and timely data migration from legacy systems to SAP
  • Define and implement data governance frameworks, quality controls, and maintenance processes
  • Support configuration and integration of EWM and TMS with MM to enable seamless supply chain execution
  • Conduct stakeholder workshops to gather requirements and align on data standards and ownership
  • Provide guidance on best practices for material master, vendor master, and logistics-related data domains
  • Lead testing, cutover planning, and post-go-live data stabilization efforts
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in SAP MM, with strong exposure to EWM and TMS
  • Proven track record leading SAP master data initiatives and data conversion strategy
  • Hands-on experience with LSMW, BAPIs, IDOCs, or other SAP data migration tools
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes in manufacturing or logistics-intensive industries
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in hybrid environments
  • Willingness to travel periodically to Sunnyvale, CA for client engagement
Preferred Attributes
  • Based in the San Francisco Bay Area
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA and data migration cockpit
  • Familiarity with semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing environments
  • Prior consulting experience with large-scale SAP transformation programs
