Equipment Engineer (Mid-Level or Senior)

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for Equipment Engineers to join our Production Engineering organization in Helena, Montana. This Equipment Engineer role will support exciting new endeavors with the 787 and 777X programs. Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Mid-Level and Senior Engineers.
A successful candidate in this role will have passion, creativity, and an insatiable desire for process improvement and efficiency. They will also have a strong desire to be out on the production floor, interacting with mechanics, safety, and equipment services, and directly supporting the production system. In Production Engineering, we need highly responsible professionals committed to upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and integrity.

- Experience with building and facilities infrastructure preferred, to include specification of facilities equipment, bid and purchase support and construction management.
- Development and/or review of specifications and designs to assess compliance with customer requirements, codes, applicable regulation and EHS initiatives.
- Leading teams to perform complex conceptual analysis to determine the cause of asset failures and reduction in asset capacity by using reliability tools and methods.
- Training and/or assisting in the development and delivery of operators training, maintenance personnel and others providing information necessary to correctly operate and maintain complex equipment.
- Delivering and/or designing training for new or modified equipment, changes in process, changes in personnel, or as periodically required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
- Bachelor degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (ABET is a preferred, although not required, accreditation standard)
- 3 or more years' related engineering work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience with building and facilities infrastructure
- Experience leading and mentoring fellow team members
- Project management experience related to asset integration
- Strong communication skills
