Job Title: Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician
Location: Allen, TX
Work Schedule: Sunday - Wednesday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM CST OR Mon, Tues (off Wed) Thurs - Fri, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM CST
Pay: $25/hr

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented NOC Technician to oversee and support our network operations. In this role, you will monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain our network systems, ensuring seamless connectivity and quick resolution of issues. Roles and Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain computer networks and systems to ensure optimum performance.
- Ensure stability of telecommunications infrastructure.
- Respond to network alerts, troubleshoot issues, and perform regular network performance checks.
- Coordinate with field technicians and engineers on network-related tasks.
- Maintain detailed records of outages, incidents, and quality control measures.
- Execute incident response procedures for remote and cloud network operations.
- Manage ServiceNow Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes effectively.
- Conduct remote network surveillance and event response, triaging and resolving incidents within SLA timelines.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for complex troubleshooting.
- Provide customer-facing support via phone, email, and support portals.
- Communicate actively with stakeholders during service-impacting events.
- Manage and track vendor tickets and support requests.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong knowledge of IP networking and protocols.
- Experience with network monitoring tools.
- 1+ years troubleshooting IP connectivity and hardware errors.
- Proficiency with VPN, BGP, MPLS, and SIP protocols.
- Ability to interpret network diagrams (e.g., Visio).
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to issues.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience in Network Operations or Telecom environments.
- Certifications such as Network+, Cisco CCST/CCNA, or ITIL.
- Experience with AWS Cloud surveillance.
