Job Description
DUTIES:
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field followed by 10 years of progressively responsible experience in delivering applications & software development. Experience must include:
Telework: 100% remote; may be performed anywhere in the US
Travel: Up to 10% domestic travel
The salary range for this position is $178,850 to $195,700 annually. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible to receive an annual bonus.
Washington Applicants Only: Employees will accrue 0.04616 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 7 holidays annually.

DUTIES:
- Deliver high performing, enterprise scale applications using cloud-based technology and framework including Microservices, Kafka, ODS and solid knowledge of end user experience solution.
- Responsible for integrating a Cloud based Property Management System into Marriott Enterprise.
- Work closely with Product team to create solutions that serve business leveraging current and leading-edge technologies in an innovative and impactful manner.
- Continue the drive and adoption of Agile development methodologies and technologies.
- Perform research, analysis, design, creation, and implementation of PMS impacting systems to meet current and future user requirements.
- Define and create the next generation of solutions to drive Marriott value.
- Manage Application development projects
- Oversee effective reporting within application development team
- Lead project review with team on application development projects
- Manage day to day relationships with all IT teams to promote the delivery of services that meet or exceed expectations
- May supervise day to day work of team members
- Work with application development service providers and validate the service provider(s) performs the services agreed to by the master services agreement in a manner that is consistent with both the spirit and the letter of the agreement
- Provides input to IT's business strategy and planning as needed
- Support and follow defined IT Governance decision rights, standards and practices
- Emphasize accuracy and effectiveness of estimating and planning management
- Provide input to business/discipline and continent IT budgets.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field followed by 10 years of progressively responsible experience in delivering applications & software development. Experience must include:
- 10 years of experience using multiple programming languages and methodologies.
- 5 years of experience with full stack solution
- 5 years of experience leading IT projects, working closely with business and other stakeholders.
- 5 years recent experience with architectural frameworks and the various approaches to the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- 5 years of experience in delivering high performing applications and leading troubleshooting performance and scaling issue.
- 5 years of experience in building solutions for property management systems.
- 3 years of experience with DevOps tools such as Git, JIRA, and/or Jenkins
- Demonstrated success leading at least 2 medium- to large-scale applications/initiatives/transformations.
- 3 years of experience managing Application Development Standards, Processes, And Tools
- 3 years of experience managing Day-To-Day Relationships with Teams
- 3 years of experience implementing and Managing Continuous Improvement Program
