- Title: Quality Assurance Lead - Contractor
- Location: Pittsburgh (Highly Preferred) or Strongsville, OH or Farmers Branch TX
Key Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth SQL, HQL, Hadoop knowledge with Python development, capable of handling testing work independently.
- Conduct ETL testing and handle associated tasks autonomously.
- Collaborate with a team of approximately 60+ individuals, engaging with both onshore and offshore members.
- Support maintenance and enhancements related to enterprise data systems.
- Interact with project stakeholders to ensure testing requirements are met.
- Handle automation testing and full knowledge of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) is a plus.
- Maintain strong communication with team members and management.
Required Skills
- Hadoop – mandatory
- Python development – mandatory
- ETL testing – required
- SQL – required
- HQL – required
- At least 6 years of experience in SQL, ETL testing, Hadoop, HQL, and Python development.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; certifications in software testing or related fields are a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Automation testing experience.
- Full knowledge of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Experience working in an onshore/offshore delivery model.
