Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Data Architect with 12 years of overall IT experience and deep expertise in designing and managing enterprise data landscapes. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience across data warehousing, data lakes, big data platforms, and cloud-native data solutions, with a proven ability to drive data strategy, architecture, and advanced analytics initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, architect, and optimize enterprise data platforms including Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, and Customer Data platforms (Customer 360).
  • Lead big data and analytics initiatives using Hadoop ecosystem technologies, Spark, and cloud-native tools.
  • Perform deep data exploration and advanced data analysis to support business intelligence and data-driven decision-making.
  • Architect and implement scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) using services such as Dataflow, Dataproc, and Kubernetes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data models, integration strategies, and data governance standards.
  • Ensure data quality, performance optimization, security, and scalability across platforms.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 12 years of overall IT experience with strong focus on data architecture and analytics.
  • Hands-on experience with Big Data technologies and the Hadoop ecosystem.
  • Strong programming and query skills in SQL, Python, and/or Spark.
  • Solid expertise in Data Warehousing concepts and Customer Data Management (Customer 360).
  • Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform data services, including:
    • Dataflow
    • Dataproc
    • Kubernetes / containerized data workloads
  • Strong analytical mindset with expertise in data exploration and analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
