Job Details

At BlueHalo, we're at the vanguard of cybersecurity and embedded systems innovation, crafting secure, sophisticated solutions for complex defense challenges. Our commitment to technological excellence drives us to explore the uncharted territories of Computer Network Operations (CNO) and embedded systems. We are on the lookout for talented CNO Reverse/Embedded Engineers at various levels to dive deep into the mechanics of systems and contribute to our mission of safeguarding digital landscapes

CNO Reverse/Embedded Engineers at BlueHalo play a crucial role in our cybersecurity efforts, engaging in the dissection and analysis of embedded systems and software to identify vulnerabilities and develop robust countermeasures. This position is ideal for problem-solvers passionate about reverse engineering, embedded system security, and contributing to national security initiatives.

You'd like to do this:
  • Perform reverse engineering of embedded systems, hardware devices, and software applications to uncover vulnerabilities and security flaws.
  • Develop and implement strategies for exploitation and defense of embedded systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design secure embedded systems from the ground up.
  • Utilize a variety of tools and techniques for software reverse engineering, including static and dynamic analysis.
  • Craft custom tools and scripts to automate reverse engineering and analysis processes.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in CNO, embedded systems security, and reverse engineering techniques.

You're required to have this:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Relevant experience may substitute for the degree at different levels.
  • Demonstrated experience in reverse engineering and embedded systems analysis, ranging from entry-level (1-3 years) to senior-level expertise (5+ years).
  • Proficiency with reverse engineering tools (e.g., IDA Pro, Ghidra, Binary Ninja) and debugging tools (e.g., GDB, WinDbg).
  • Familiarity with programming and scripting languages relevant to reverse engineering and embedded systems development (e.g., C, C++, Python).
  • Knowledge of operating systems internals, firmware, and protocols.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
