Overview

We are seeking an experienced PLC Programmer to join our engineering team and support the design, programming, and development of automation software for industrial environments, with a strong focus on automotive production lines. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with PLCs, HMI configuration, industrial networks, and automation systems, combined with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

This role involves working on-site with production teams, supporting start-ups, debugging, and ensuring the smooth operation of automated systems. You will also provide project updates to leadership and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop PLC programming for automated production lines.
  • Program and configure data visualization screens (HMI).
  • Work with client standards (e.g., VW, Gestamp, Ford, and others).
  • Support system start-ups, testing, and debugging programming issues.
  • Develop user manuals and technical documentation according to company specifications.
  • Collaborate with project leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Industrial Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
  • Higher training cycle in Robotics or Industrial Automation (Master s degree in Automation Systems is a plus).
  • 3+ years of experience in PLC programming or industrial automation.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming and safety programming.
  • Experience configuring HMI panels, industrial networks, and industrial drives.
  • Strong understanding of electrical diagrams, robotics basics, pneumatics, and analog systems.

Technical Skills

  • Rockwell: RSLogix, FactoryTalk View, RSLinks.
  • Siemens: Step 7, WinCC Flexible, TIA Portal.
  • Pilz: WinPro.

Language Requirements

  • English: B2 (Reading, Writing, Speaking).
