Primary Purpose:
- Join our team responsible for comprehensive network support across our entire computing environment.
- Manage hardware procurement, deployment, and system support.
- Lead project management efforts for deployment and rehab projects.
- Monitor and manage network infrastructure.
- Be part of our IT shared services team supporting a portfolio of privately held companies.
Essential Functions and Requirements:
- Cisco Support: Provide expert support for existing Cisco infrastructure deployments.
- Network Design: Lead the design of our network layout across the organization.
- IOS Management: Monitor IOS versions and schedule updates as needed.
- Configuration Templates: Design, test, and deploy Cisco configuration templates.
- Process Documentation: Keep process documentation up-to-date.
- Best Practices: Follow industry standards to enhance network resiliency and performance.
- Configuration Monitoring: Document and monitor various aspects of Cisco infrastructure.
- Ticket Resolution: Assist in resolving escalated technical tickets.
- Tier 3 Support: Provide network troubleshooting and support
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven track record in network engineering, particularly in a Cisco environment.
- Certifications: Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP, etc.) preferred.
- Teamwork: Work well in cross-functional teams.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Analytical mindset for effective troubleshooting.
- Communication: Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
