Sr DevOps Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr DevOps Engineer to lead the SonarQube Enterprise Rollout across multiple platforms. This is a hands-on role that combines scripting, automation, cloud provisioning, and cross-team coordination to ensure seamless integration of SonarQube into our CI/CD pipelines and DataLake infrastructure.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $82.00/hr.

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr DevOps Engineer to lead the SonarQube Enterprise Rollout across multiple platforms. This is a hands-on role that combines scripting, automation, cloud provisioning, and cross-team coordination to ensure seamless integration of SonarQube into our CI/CD pipelines and DataLake infrastructure.
What You'll Do
- CI/CD Integration: Collaborate with platform teams to understand their pipelines and develop scripts to support SonarQube integration.
- Application Development: Build an application to ensure SonarQube data is effectively integrated with our enterprise DataLake.
- Cloud & Release Automation: Research and automate provisioning in the cloud, managing releases in alignment with State Street policies.
- Project Coordination: Lead the rollout across multiple platforms, working closely with DevOps teams and product owners.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical standards and documentation to support long-term sustainability.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Partner with Product Owners and DevOps teams to drive SonarQube integration success.
- Write and maintain automation scripts and tools.
- Troubleshoot integration issues and optimize performance.
- Participate in planning and coordination meetings.
- Maintain project documentation in Confluence.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in software development.
- Strong expertise in Python and CI/CD pipeline development.
- Proficient in Git, SonarQube, Jenkins, DataLake, and RDBMS.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with diverse DevOps stacks: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Terraform, Harness, Bitbucket Pipelines.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Industry knowledge: Financial Services.
