Job Details

As a Top Secret Software Developer for this program, you will be working in an organization that's mission is to develop and operate the best possible software for critical national security enterprise applications. This organization leverages SCRUM and SAFE Agile software development methodology and strong Dev Ops practices.

You will be responsible for developing code, testing and debugging new software or enhancements to existing software. You will have a good understanding of business applications as well as user, performance, quality, interface, and security requirements. You will work with technical team to understand problems with software and resolve them. You will resolve customer complaints with software and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements. You will be responsible for design, testing, security lockdown implementation, integration with standard software packages, integration with automated patching and deployment technologies, documentation, and training to include automating application and configuration deployments and updates. Responsibilities:
Develops codes, tests, and debugs new software or enhancements to existing software. Has good understanding of business applications as well as user, performance, quality, interface, and security requirements. Works with technical staff to understand problems with software and resolve them. Resolves customer complaints with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements. May assist in development of software user manuals. Responsible for desktop design, testing, security lockdown implementation, integration with standard software packages, integration with automated patching and deployment technologies, documentation, and training to include automating application and configuration deployments and updates.

Applies fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments. Performs work that requires practical experience and training. Work is performed under supervision. Minimum of 1 year experience recommended. In absence of years of experience, certifications or past work may be used to show the level of experience needed to perform at this level.

A typical day in the life on this program involves:
Design, develop, test, maintain and deploy new software applications
Analyze and design new software solutions based on user and technical requirements
Develop software in the AWS cloud
Analyze existing architecture and new requirements and prepare technical recommendations
Collaborate with cross functional teams
Respond outside of core business hours to critical tickets and incidents related to the application

Requirements:
Active Top Secret with SCI Eligibility
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or other related field
In absence of degree, additional years of experience may be substituted for educational requirements

Clearance Required: Top Secret with SCI Eligibility
