Location Stafford, TX
Duration 6+ Months Interview - In Person (1 round)

Job Responsibility
5+ year experience
  • Knowledge of dimensional testing and manufacturing.
  • Sound product knowledge.
  • Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. 3+ years related experience.
    Review of vendor documentation, including Material Test Reports, to ensure compliance to Engineering specifications.
    Perform visual and dimensional inspection of manufactured components using standard inspection equipment.
  • Equipment used to perform inspections includes calipers, micrometers, hard gauges, profilometers, optical comparator, and micro-hite.
    Identify and document non-conformances to be dispositioned by technical authority.
    Raise change requests to Engineering upon identifying design for manufacturability concerns.
    Liaising with functional groups for all Quality Control related activities/problems.
    Interfacing with Customer/Third Party/certifying authority representatives, as required.
    Participating in Continuous Improvement initiatives.
    Be results driven with a keen eye for detail
    Good communication skills.
    Ability to read drawings and understand GD&T
    Understanding of machinist handbook (ASME, ASTM, ISO17025)
    Ability to use Competent in using a dial caliper and micrometer for measuring parts
    Knowledge in dimensional testing and manufacturing
    Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent.
    1+ years related experience.
    inspection background, cmm experience, geometric dimension, understands engineering terms, read a drawing
    SAP a plus
    High School Diploma or equivalent
    any GD&T experience is a plus (dimensional drawings)
