Job Details

Qualifications - Needed

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university preferred
  • 2-5 years of electrical engineering or design experience, preferably in building systems
  • Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification preferred or willingness to pursue
  • Proficiency with Revit, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Excel
  • Experience with ETAP or SKM software required
  • Strong familiarity with electrical building codes and system design standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage tasks independently, meet deadlines, and coordinate with cross-functional teams

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Lead and perform electrical design for power distribution, lighting, lighting controls, fire alarm, and low voltage systems
  • Execute engineering calculations, Revit modeling, and prepare technical specifications
  • Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes and industry standards
  • Conduct project site visits and coordinate with clients and multidisciplinary teams
  • Contribute to internal standards and procedures documentation
  • Support internal departments with technical engineering input
  • Use design software tools including Revit, AGI32, ETAP or SKM, Bluebeam, and PlanGrid
