Job Details

  • Manages the recruitment and selection process for assigned exempt and non-exempt positions to include the development and implementation of recruitment plans, recruitment advertising programs, recruitment metrics, and recruitment-related activities and initiatives.
  • Directly posts, source passive candidates, negotiate salary, and close candidates.
  • Develop recruitment techniques, strategies, and action plans to efficiently cover the recruitment workload. Ensures compliance with hospital policies, corporate requirements, and relevant employment laws.

Skills:

  • Ability to build relationships with candidates and customers, resulting in fulfilling talent acquisition needs.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent computer skills including advanced ATS proficiency, strong HRIS; Computer proficiency with MS Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to include email, spreadsheets, database entry, and use of various of office equipment- PC, copier, printer, scanner.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Organized and detail-oriented.

Job Duties:

  • Reviews job requisitions for accuracy and completeness. Posts open positions with appropriate approvals.
  • Reviews employment applications and internal transfer applications. Evaluates work history, education and training, job skills, compensation needs, and other qualifications of applicants.
  • Interview applicants utilizing behavioral-based interview questions.
  • Informs applicants of job duties and responsibilities, compensation and benefits, work schedules and working conditions, company policies, promotional opportunities, bonus programs, and other related information.
  • Refers best qualified screened applicants to hiring manager, according to established employment policies and procedures and relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Performs reference checks and verifies licensure on applicants.
  • Uses networking opportunities to identify quality active and passive candidates.
  • Meets regularly with the management team to discuss staffing needs.
  • Meets regularly with hiring managers/supervisors to ensure understanding of position and departmental requirements.
  • Makes offers of employment, transfers, and promotions.
