Job Title: Adobe AEM Technical Lead Sites & Assets

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Adobe AEM Technical Lead to oversee the development and delivery of AEM-based solutions supporting enterprise marketing, digital asset management, and personalized customer experiences. This role works closely with AEM Architects, developers, and cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, compliant, and high-performing implementations across both AEM Sites and AEM Assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical implementation of AEM Sites and Assets, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and business requirements.
  • Manage and mentor a team of AEM developers, providing code reviews, guidance, and hands-on support.
  • Translate solution architecture into technical designs, components, and workflows.
  • Develop and customize AEM components, templates, servlets, and workflows using Sling, OSGi, and JCR.
  • Implement and optimize metadata schemas, asset renditions, and tagging strategies within AEM Assets.
  • Support migration efforts from legacy CMS/DAM systems into AEM, including scripting and automation.
  • Integrate AEM with Adobe Creative Cloud, Workfront, and other MarTech platforms.
  • Ensure adherence to security, performance, and compliance standards, especially in regulated environments.
  • Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and product teams to support CI/CD pipelines, environment management, and release planning.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across AEM environments.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on development experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
  • Strong proficiency in Java, Sling, OSGi, JCR, HTL, and AEM development tools.
  • Experience with AEM Sites and AEM Assets, including DAM workflows and metadata management.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Workfront, Dynamic Media, and Creative Cloud integrations.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party system integrations.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployment models.
  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) in AEM Developer or Architect.
  • Experience in financial services, insurance, or other regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS).
  • Experience with performance tuning, caching strategies, and dispatcher configurations.
