Role Title: Android Developer
Location: Dallas, TX & Minneapolis, MN (Onsite - Local only)
Duration: 6+ Months with possibility of extension

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance mobile applications. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Android frameworks, strong programming skills, and the ability to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality mobile solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mobile applications for a wide range of Android devices (phones and tablets).
  • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to define requirements and deliver user-centric solutions.
  • Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of mobile applications.
  • Define and document application designs, enhancements, and technical solutions.
  • Create, review, and execute unit test plans for multiple projects.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance testing and development processes.
  • Assist with coding, testing, implementation, and documentation.
  • Analyze and document workflows, data, and logical processes, integrating with external and internal systems.
  • Recommend improvements and technical solutions for evolving business needs.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5 6+ years of professional experience in mobile application development.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in designing and developing native Android applications.
  • Strong experience with Android frameworks (APIs, unit testing, deployment, etc.).
  • Excellent programming skills in Kotlin and/or Java (Swift experience is a plus).
  • Proficiency with MVVM architecture, data structures, and solid object-oriented programming.
  • Experience using Android SDK performance tools and application optimization techniques.
  • Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and design principles.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development lifecycle and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
