Duration: 1-year contract with possibility of extension
Location: Remote
Responsibilities:
- Creates detailed test plans, including test scenarios, test steps, and expected results for defined functional requirements of the application under test.
- Validates that user expectations are achieved during the testing process. Reviews other QA analysts work for correctness and test coverage. Captures, analyzes and summarizes test results.
- Assists with documenting product functionality for both internal and external users.
- Works with project teams, business analysts, developers, and QA team to determine appropriate fixes to identified bugs and ensure the timely completion of deliverables.
- Plans, designs, and implements quality assurance strategies and processes for software development and testing.
- Maintains documentation of test activities, test cases and test results.
- Plans, designs, and produces comprehensive metrics of test case development, test results, defect tracking, and test effectiveness to be consumed by business and technical users.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in software quality assurance/testing including web and client/server applications with a minimum 3 years in a lead role
- Strong background in analyzing test results and producing meaningful, comprehensive metrics of software testing activities.
- Experience using and testing Power Apps.
- Experience with AI-powered testing including Microsoft Copilot.
- Experience using Power BI to evaluate software test data and produce metrics consumable by business and technical users.
- Experience with agile methodology and using Azure DevOps.
- Quick learner, with ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic, team environment.
- Experience with test automation, Salesforce platform testing, or ServiceNow platform testing preferred, but not required.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent field is required.
